Nokia tasks ABA with James Cracknell website for Sport Relief

Direct marketing and digital agency, Ashley Bolser Agency (ABA), have developed, created and launched a website to raise funds for James Cracknell's Cross-Continent Challenge, in support of this year’s Sport Relief campaign, and showcase navigation technology for Nokia. James’ Challenge sees the double Olympic champion and world record holding rower attempt to row, cycle and swim a huge 1,434 miles from Dover to Morocco. The website http://www.challengecracknell.com went live on 19th February, and the challenge is set to commence on the 28th February.

The ABA team have created a website for Nokia to connect James to his supporters, while showing how Nokia technology is helping blog and navigate his journey. Nokia Nseries handset functionality has been integrated with the website to allow real time A-GPS updates of James’ progress.

Visitors to the site can choose to receive text updates on James’ Challenge progress, and ABA are anticipating up to 800,000 unique visitors to the site during the Challenge.

ABA launch ASDA Internet Savings account

Leeds based Ashley Bolser Agency (ABA), have launched ASDA Financial Services (ASDA FS) Internet Savings account, in partnership with Bradford & Bingley.

As the retained agency for ASDA FS, ABA was tasked with launching the savings account in an informative way, simplifying the offering for the consumer.

As ASDA Financial Services’ agency ABA were asked to help them launch their new Internet Savings account, partnered with Bradford & Bingley, which launched in November. The ABA team created a variety of launch literature including leaflets, web pages, email campaigns and welcome packs, synonymous with the existing ASDA FS products. The campaign, which was launched in November, made use of the ‘ASDA Squashy’.
Comments ABA’s director, Ashley Bolser: “This product is seen as a step away from the more mainstream Financial Services ASDA are offering and so was an important product launch for the team. Initial responses are that the website and take one have been well received, which is great.”

ABA appointed by Allied Textiles

Following a competitive three way pitch, Leeds based Ashley Bolser Agency (ABA), has been appointed by Allied Textiles Group to develop global B2B websites for themselves and the 6 companies that make up the group.

The central website Allied Textiles successfully went live on 14th February, marking the launch of Allied Textiles’ first ever corporate web presence. The ABA team will now create the six websites for the divisions of the group, each requiring their own identity to detail specialities in various different areas of synthetic fibre production.
