ABA promotes environmental issues in partnership with ibuyeco Insurance
Online eco-friendly car insurance company ibuyeco, part of the BGL group of companies, is expanding its promotion of environmental issues by implementing an awareness scheme amongst all BGL staff. Direct marketing and digital specialist, Ashley Bolser Agency (ABA), has developed, created and successfully run a first wave of the internal communications campaign, focussing on carbon neutrality and recycling, amongst staff within BGL call centres.
The four week programme involves activities, team competitions and incentives focused around four key areas of environmental impact – biodiversity, waste and recycling, energy usage and water wastage. The initiative has been designed to encourage BGL workforce attitudes which are in line with ibuyeco’s ethics. ABA was also tasked with creating booklets, posters and flyers to further engage staff in the campaign and continue the programme’s effectiveness beyond the initial 4 week period.
Ashley Bolser commented; “ibuyeco wants all of BGL’s staff to become green advocates and to live the brand values that ibuyeco stands for. Our campaign was to put these across to staff in a clear and compelling manner – which we feel we achieved with style.”
David Lundholme, Director, ibuyeco commented; “Many thanks to ABA for creating an innovative and well thought out internal communications programme. The campaign was very successful in achieving its awareness objectives and educating BGL employees about the great work ibuyeco does whilst retaining our eco-friendly brand values and identity.”
