Yorvik Homes Case Study

THE BRIEF

Yorvik Homes are housebuilders with a reputation for quality. Based in York, their developments are some of the most sought after properties in Yorkshire. By combining fantastic locations, master craftsmen and a combination of individuality and diversity in design, they have stood out from many of their national competitors. Our initial brief was to create a website to reflect their ethos whilst technically ensuring a high listing on all the major search engines. Stage two was to put together all marketing and promotional collateral for their most ambitious development to date – a £4 million project in North Stainley, North Yorkshire.

THE SOLUTION

New homes marketing collateral can be tired, cliched and impersonal. When trawling the marketplace we found very little material which really reflected what the companies are all about and how they considered their customers. We asked ourselves the question “if I’m spending the best part of half a million pounds on a house, what would I want to see?” – the answer was simple - “it’s about me….my lifestyle, my children, my worries and my security”. We created material where all the customers questions are answered, where fears are allayed and the quality of the product shines through.

THE OUTCOME

Brand building and design are all well and good but we are experts in direct response. This is what we’ve judged ourselves on.

500% increase in traffic on the previous incarnation of the website

Search engine optimisation – No 1 return on Google, MSN and Yahoo
